The dress features the classic Tchaikovsky music from the Nutcracker Ballet. The pink dress is full of sparkles and layers of soft tulle. Lined with satin for itch free wear. Velcro backclosure allows for maximum size versatility and easy dressing. Once the music is activated it continues with motion. One size fits most three to six year olds. Three AAA batteries included.

a big hit with our niece Dec 02, 2007

When we heard that our niece was still in the princess/ballet phase, we knew this would be a good bet for her birthday and it was. She wore it pretty much non-stop the weekend she got it and has worn it to ballet classes and just whenever since then.

She wasn't a big fan of wearing it with the music box in the dress pocket but she loves running around the house with the box in her hand so that it has the same effect. Fortunately the music isn't too annoying as you can guess how often you will hear it.

She is a fairly small 3yo and the dress fit fine but it looks like there is enough room for it to make it through at least another year or two of growth. The only thing that you should be aware of is that the glitter on the skirt does tend to come off on EVERYTHING. The skirt still has plenty of glitter on it but we spent about a week picking glitter off of our sofa after her week long visit. I suspect that will stop over time though.

My daughter absolutely loves this dress. Not only is it a beautiful outfit but the music it plays is nice and loud enough for them to dance to! Great buy for a little ballerina.

I purchased this for my niece who I am told has been giving daily shows wearing it and dancing for anyone who will watch. Great Fun and easy to use.

We ordered this dress because the princess dresses from walmart kept falling apart. I love this one and for only $3 more you get a durable dress. My three year old daughter lives in it! She has even worn it to bed and it's still like new. Very happy
