Canvas Dance Shoes Mar 06, 2010 These are perfect for Folk Dancing. The elastic ties are already sewn on. The sizes run small. I wear a US Women's 10 1/2, Men's 9 1/2, and the dance shoe size 11 was WAY too short. About 1/2 inch too short. Also, you cannot exchange. Refund only.
Love them!! Feb 10, 2010 I am a adult ballet beginner. Thess are my first ballet slippers, at first I was skiptical about buying these slipper beause the straps do not come attached and I dont know how to sew, but that is just a minor problem. I am a 6.5 in street size, so I bought a 6 just like it was recommended. At first they felt a little tight, but after dacing in them they streched and now feel great.
Watch out for the size, but a very well made shoe Jan 04, 2010 I am a size 9.5 and I wear a size 11 perfectly. It should be snug, but you need to be able to get your foot in. So buy one to two sizes up from your normal shoe size. Other than that it was very comfortable, didn't dirty quickly and have yet to wear out (four months and many ballet classes later).

Dance slipper Dec 23, 2009 I love my new ballet slippers. They are durable and have a great non-slip sole.
Maybe 5 STARS Dec 20, 2009 These ballet shoes are from the Discount Dance Supply company and although I have yet to use them, I can tell from the materials and craftsmanship that they are a solid choice. In terms of sizes, you can be confident that when purchasing this type of shoe, in general you can order your street shoe size and they will naturally stretch out as you dance. If they become too big, you can order 1/2 size down next time and wear socks with the older pair and have an extra pair to alternate with/ air out.
