Pretty and delicate Apr 16, 2009

I know these coins are just going to fall off. This scarf is beautiful, but I wear it to belly dance lessons and I feel like it will not last as long as I hoped before I start losing coins. The material is also thinner than I imagined from the photo. It also doesn't give the satisfactory "jingle" that some of my bellydance compatriots get out of their scarves with heavier coins. The scarf is pretty delicate, but then, I tend to be rough on my property. I tossed it in my gym bag and then realized I would definitely mess it up carrying it like that. Just not sure how I should transport it to keep it in good shape! My bellydancing friends have higher quality scarves, but they paid much, much more for them than I paid for this one, and they probably take better care of theirs than I do! I'm happy with it considering that the price was right.

The hip scarf is very pretty. It's light weight and seems to be pretty durable. I really like the way it sounds when I move. It makes more of a tinkle sound instead of the loud jingle / crashing sound alot of the other scarfs make. (those loud ones scare the heck out of my cat) A great bargin all in all.

I had always wanted to buy a belly dance belt. This one stood out to me so I bought it. It is exactly like the picture. I found it to be lightweight, and it looks beautiful when you use it to belly dance.

I've worn my bellydance scarf three times already to my ZUMBA class. It's probably my imagination but I feel like I move my hips better to the beat if I hear my coins jingle.

I ordered 2 of these for me and a friend for Zumba class. I wore mine twice and each time lost coins...it just kept unraveling. My friend's didn't have a problem. So, I contacted the company and they immediately sent out another one and it has been great!
