No more sore toes, good price, sturdy shoe Feb 10, 2010 My daughter is a competition dancer and these shoes give her ample support for 15min routines and 2hr classes. She wears a cotton bootie sock ( like an ankle sock you would wear in a sneaker). Some of her dances requires her to rise on her toe..she said that the shoe is hard enough to protect her toes without hurting her feet from overall discomfort. I've gone into several dance supply stores and good sturdy tap shoes are a bit costly, this was a good purchase that is holding up pretty good. We've had them about 2 weeks now, and she wears them about 4hrs a week. I'm pleased that she is pleased and not hurting after class. The taps are good also, good sound. You can probably tuck or find a shorter shoe string..these are pretty long, but don't seem to get in her way.
Women's jazz tap shoe Jan 07, 2010 Excellent product, have owned these same tap shoes before. Women order same size as tennis shoes.
For the price, its fine tap shoes Dec 02, 2009 I bought this to start out my new found hobby, tap dancing. Since I'm a beginner and know nothing about what makes tap shoes excellent, I bought the cheapest pair I could find. The size chart is very accurate. Awesome fast shipping! The package also came extremely early through FedEx. Love the low price, but the shoe is low quality. It's not leather, (what can I expect) seems like it has rubber-like soles, and cheap looking shoe laces. The heels and soles are poorly glued on, I can see the glue marks on the shoes. The tap sound is great, above average. It is clear and crisp. Overall, great beginner shoes for people who is just starting out as a hobby and not fully committed to it. (Like me) I know when I get better at this tap dancing business, I will have to buy myself better tap shoes immediately. But for now, it will have to do.

Low price, Great Quality Mar 24, 2009 I orderd these tap shoes because I needed them quickly. I called the 800 number to speak with a customer service representative to get the sizing of the shoe. They assured me they were street size. I ordered the street size for my daughter and they were 1.5 size too big. I called customer service to voice my opinion and they agreed to waive the $35 exchange fee. I found it cheaper to just purchase another pair of shoes vice mailing back the one's I purchased and waiting I don't know how long for the exchange. However, I do love the shoes and they are of good quality for the price. You can hear the sounds very pronounced and clear.

Affordable Tap Shoes Feb 13, 2009 These shoes are a great deal for the money. They are not real leather so it also a good vegan option. They fit true to size; I ordered a half size larger and it is a little big. Instead of returning I am just using thicker socks which help making the shoes a little bit more comfortable. I am not a professional tapper and I only use them about twice a week, so for me it's an awesome deal. Eventually I will have to fork out the money to buy better shoes, but for now they are fine and the shoes have met my expectations.
