Very good tap shoes May 07, 2010 These tap shoes did the job. I needed a pair quickly for a performance. The size was slightly big, but was fine with just tightening the buckle. Nice, leather shoes.
Granddaughter's Big Feet Apr 25, 2010 The shoes were exactly what we needed, not too expensive to accomodate buying for growing feet every three months.
Sturdy shoe, horrible sound Apr 20, 2010 I bought these when I first started tapping. They are cute and sturdy. I've had them for a couple years and they still look good. Compared to the cheapy tyette type beginner shoes (which sound *horrible*), they sound ok. But once you decide that tap in not a passing phase, you'll probably want something that sounds better. Compared to my classmates, it sounds like I have a piece of tin can on the bottom of my feet. Its a hollow "ting" type sound. I'm upgrading to a Capezio oxford to get a better sound. I wear a size 7 1/2 and bought an 8 1/2. They are a bit big. I probably should have gotten the 8.

Awesome beginner tap shoes Apr 20, 2009 These shoes are great for beginning tap. I read through the other reviews and ordered a size up as suggested - they fit perfectly. Really comfortable and don't pinch or rub in the wrong places. Totally a good buy.

Good shoes! Feb 09, 2009 I am a total tap beginner. I bought these because I didn't want to spend a chunk of money on shoes I may not use for long. They are a solid value and are exactly what I needed. I did a size bigger than street shoes, and they fit great. They do have a good sound, too.
